The cute owl certainly makes papersowl's website very interesting, but the number of negative papersowl reviews online got us very concerned about the legitimacy of this service. To begin our review, we started by evaluating the website of the company. This turned out to be a pleasant experience, since the company has a trendy, informative website with an updated and rich blog.

However, a good marketing strategy is not and should not be enough to convince you to purchase papers from a provider. To learn more about the company, we checked all the key features they offer.

papersowl review

Criteria #1: Range of Writing Services Offered (Mark - 6/20) is one of those companies that allow the customer to pick the writer instead of choosing one for them. And while this sounds like an excellent opportunity, the bidding system comes with many risks.

The variety of writers and risks of making a bad choice are probably the two main reasons for those negative reviews online. This company allows customers to order any paper they need, which is an excellent opportunity, but you can never know if you selected a good writer until the point where you get and pay for the paper.

Criteria #2: Pricing, Discounts & Payment Policy (Mark - 10/20)

The lack of information about prices is one of the biggest reasons why you shouldn't order from companies that allow bidding. With available writers bidding on your order, you literally can never know how much you will pay for your next paper. The number of bidders is different for every order, and the prices can range from extremely low to extremely high.

Of course, the more bidders, the more chances you have to find a price that is affordable for you, but this also means that you have to spend a lot of time checking writers' portfolios and profiles. In addition to this, the company cannot offer any discounts because of this system.

Criteria #3: Quality Evaluation (Mark - 8/20)

Not only the ordering process turned out to be extremely time-consuming because we got over 25 bids, but the profiles of the writers turned out to be fake. Our experience with the service was not good at all, in the sense that the writer we selected delivered the paper a day late.

That's not all. The essay we got from the service was of very poor quality, which only confirmed all those negative papersowl reviews online. We believe that our writer was not a native English speaker, even though his profile said he was.

Despite the fact that we chose an average rate for the order, the paper was still of bad quality.

Criteria #4: Customer Support (Mark - 7/20)

Fortunately, the customer service here replies within minutes. The agents were very professional and helped us through the ordering process. They left us to choose the writer on our own, which took over an hour, but when we contacted them in regards to the low-quality content, they accepted a revision request.

Still, the revised paper was of equally bad quality, and the customer service could not do anything about it. They offered a second revision, but it did not help. Finally, we asked for a refund, but the agent rejected this request.

Criteria #5: Customer Reviews (Mark - 7/20)

Mitchell Whitehead:
"I used less than a month ago, and I've been sharing my experience everywhere I can since. This company literally stole for me, because they charged me more than it was said on the website. When I asked why, they showed a bunch of hidden fees for things that are free with other companies. That's not even the worst thing. The paper I got from their writer was so bad, I wouldn't order again even if it weren’t for the payment thing."

Jessica Netting:
"I don't recommend papersowl to anyone. It takes forever to order, and their writers are terrible. I ordered three times to find a solid writer, and all three papers were bad. I now have a $100 less because of this company, and no papers to submit at school."

Charles Turnstall:
"My friends told me about this company, but I don't see what they see in it. It seems like everyone who works there bids on everything, so I got over 50 bids on my essay. I spend two hours choosing a writer, and I chose a bad one. "

Conclusion: is a bidding writing service, but unfortunately, not a good one. The many negative reviews online indicate that this company has many inexperienced writers. You can find cheap prices here, but the chances of getting low quality paper are very high.
